The Local Organic Veggie Delivery Experiment - Week 1

I finally got around to signing up for the local produce delivery service offered here in San Francisco. http://www.farmfreshtoyou.com/ will deliver various sized boxes of fresh vegetables and fruit weekly to your doorstep. The challenge will be to use it all before it goes bad.

I got my first delivery today:

5 Gaia Apples
1 Large Red Onion
1 Cantaloupe
1 pt. cherry tomatoes
1 bunch of basil
5 heirloom tomatoes
1 bag seedless crimson grapes

I quickly consumed the grapes, but now for the challenge of coming up with recipes that will make good use of the rest of my delivery.

I will certainly need to start with this Bruschetta recipe
